oile leak?

Default oile leak?

ok ive got an oile leadk somewhere on my96 UK turbo!

looks like near the sump or around the sump sumwhere, not bad but drips ? is this a common thing? what can it be!

Look at the cam cover seals, bet it's from there! It drips onto the exhaust manifold too...

Also check crank shaft oil seal (behind front pulley)

ok where is the cam cover seal? and the front pulley is that the main big one? got any pics?

The cam seals behind the cam wheels, put it this way black plastic covers off, timing belt off, cams wheels off, then under plastic cover off before you can get a closer inspection of the cam seals.

I second that....


the cam covers are on both sides of the engine (left and right),its the part that the spark plugs go through (at least this will help you look int the correct place).
