Pro's/Cons of changing newage centre pipe?
All
Having already got a Ninja BB on my 04.... is there any point in me dumping the centre silencer section for a straight through pipe? (or some sort of resonated section)
I know the noise would probably increase, but by a lot?
I had a Prodrive BB + de-cat centre on my MY99, which was not loud against other similar setups.

If that's not an issue..
I'm told the down pipe is where the more signifcant gains are to be had, so if you're after power, more turbo nose and a slightly earlier spool up, then that's what you might want to consider chatting with a specialist about. Do chat to someone more knowledgable than me though!

I think it's a good BB. It's not HKS, Blitz or H&S standard, but it does have huge VFM.
It's well made, fits fine (maybe hangs a little too low), sounds superb and gives the car much more character. The exhaust note is probably not as deep as some other BB's out there, but deep enough.
I can't comment on performance gains (as I'm not that bothered about what it does for the engine) but it's sooooo much better in looks than the standard BB.
Just make sure you keep yours clean and shiny.... you just can't have a shiny enough pipe in my book
