I had Scoobyclinic do my newage up & down pipe last week, excellent place, very knowledgable when it comes to scoobs and at £20-£25 p/h very reasonable. I was going to do this myself but for just over £100 (4hrs) it wasn't worth me bothering, especially if you get a seized nut..!

ttt hijack thread, but what has to come off to get to undoing the turbo end of the up pipe?

and do you need loads of jacks to support while you take bits off?

Remove the TMIC and turbo heatshield (IRRC) undo the nuts holding the uppipe on to the turbo.
I think you may have to remove the offside engine mount and jack the engine up slightly to get the uppipe out.
I was already removing the headers and turbo when I was doing the uppipe so I didnt need to mess with mounts.

The other way is to drop the off side of the headers down and get the uppipe out.
Good luck
Mike

You also need to remove the downpipe as there is an up-pipe nut underneath it-
