With due respect to Oilman who doesn't sell Castrol, Castrol Syntrax is the one recommended by those people I know who know, through extensive experience. There have been long threads on this. Just to prove my conviction, I have five litres of Motul in the garage now, but I've ordered the Castol Syntrax and that's what's going in. Gear change quality is the thing that makes it - fully synth is too slippery (apparently).

Motul GEAR 300 works perfectly with my own MY05 WRX STI.

Castrol Finland does NOT recommend it for severe use.. I have asked them few weeks about that.

Errmm.

I do sell Castrol.

I dont stock the Syntrax because quite frankly there is so much better.

You use what you feel comfortable with.

Cheers

Simon.
