my gearbox
hi everyone just a quick one after doing some track time, and the ring a few time,s after driving the car hard for a bit im getting what i can only descibe as a whinning noise from gearbox area could this be a diff regular oil change tried a wynn,s additive not too sure what it is change,s gear ok and work,s fine quiet under normal driving etc etc

Could be the same as what happened to mine. Mine whined slightly and then gradually got worse over about 4 weeks. Bearing was on it's way out 
It was easier & cheaper to change the whole box.

Drain your gearbox oil & see if there's excessive metal in it. Mine came out looking like glittery black nail polish
