Default 05 a-dccd

Hi all
now then power loss
went on a RR and lost 109 bhp through the gear box and diffs on my P1.
I have just got a new 05 sti ( uk ) the car drives smother with the diff open and a lot smother to pull off when open than in auto
so do i loss less power with this new cars a-dccd than with the older cars set up
And less when it's open to when it's in auto

Thanks
Neil

maybe re-phrase that so we can understand what you're talking about ???

if I'm interpreting you correctly you need to get to a rolling road and find out.

Yes you will get less power loss with a dccd or a A-dccd equipped car

I would take the roller losses with a pinch of salt too. They are most likely representative of the losses on the rollers, but the tyres will be around 50% of that, and they will lose more on small rollers than on a flat road.
