Higher pitched noise when approaching 2.5k revs
Hi, I've had this in the technical forum for a couple of weeks but no replies so thought I'd try here! Any help would be appreciated.
I have recently had to replace the dump valve because the little pipe sticking out had snapped off inside the hose.
Had to drive about 60 miles before it was fixed, so am worried it may have caused damage to it.
Is this possible?
Ever since I've replaced it, it's been making a slightly higher pitched noise when approaching 2.5k revs. Just doesn't sound normal at all. Has anybody experienced that sort of noise from the dump valve? It only happens when I'm slowly approaching 2.5k revs. It's higher pitched and slightly rattlier.
Thanks,
Mark.
