Default How Tight should the actuator arm be ??

I Take it that the Spring in the actuator itself will allow a little movement, But should it be solid ?? I take it shortening the actuator arm holds the penny tighter shut ?? & would a 1/4 turn on the Rod be to much ?

Thanks

Dean

1/2 turn can be 1 or 2 PSI difference.

I suppose the correct position is the one that gives factory boost on a standard car. If modified, then you can adjust various things to get the boost you want of course?

My boost seems to vary between 1.14 bar and 1.18 bar would this adjustment give me accure for what i think is fuelcut or is it spikeing ??

If you mean hold it at the top end, then you have to ask whether you really should be tightening the acutator as you are usually fighting exhaust manifold pressure which you should allow to blow the wastegate open.

If it is midrange, you can change the duty cycle in the Power FC, tightening the actuator will do similar.

morph, depends on the car, 0.04bar swing is trivial though. What is it supposed to run?

Dean seems a similar problem we have

John its around 0.9 bar standard i am just trying to increas boost before fuel cut, normally runs 1.15 all day and have had it up 1.2bar but just seems to be varying now ? as i said not sure if fuel cut or spikeing and wondered if i needed to adjust the actuator arm to hold it closed longer ?
Am using blitz edc controller...
