Question Classic/New Age centre pipes?

Apart from the obvious with the classic having a cat in it, are these pipes exactly the same or do they have differences?

the downpipe on a eu newage is shorter than a classic making the centre longer, on a jap car they are the same but dont take my word for it

I have a classic centre on my bugeye as I have a jap spec downpipe if that makes sense

The classic centre is approx 3" longer than a UK bugeye / blobeye
