How to get the 3 pin tps to work on pre96 cars
Is there anyway of modifying the later 3 pin TPS (MY97/98) to work off the standard ecu on pre96 cars which use the 4 pin type TPS.

yes, if no one else answers before tomorrow with the pin change i will post it as it is in my notes...
You will need a throttle closed switch, i usually run these with a simple microswitch and bracket.
The reason for this is that the early Ecu uses a TP closed signal for idle control and boost solenoid, as the later TPS does not have a TP Clsoed position (hence only 3 wire instead of 4) you will need to fit this extra switch.
