Help,seperating from gearbox

Default Help,seperating from gearbox

habe a good 10-15mm all the way round the bell housing, but won`t come any further,

have i missed something?

note; first time taking engine out of a flat four! legacy turbo btw.

have you taken the clutch pivot bbar out?

allen key blanking plug at side of starter motor, remove that, then screw an m6 50mm bolt into the bar (hidden) and then pull the bar out.

Think Steven has it on the head. If it is that stuck put a 12mm long socket onto a ratchet and disconnect the clutch from the flywheel by undoing 6 (I think) bolts. Crank it around by hand until non are left.
