Which Panel Air Filter?
I'm about to get a EcuTek remap with on a STi V MY99 with full decat. I want to change the standard filter to another. I've got the Green Cotton panel filter in mind.
Any others worth considering?
TIA
PS. Apologies if this has been answered before but I'm about to go home ICBA to search...

Had an tek3 remap with BRdevelopements and their recomendation to me was an Sti filter.
Guess it makes sense...after all Subaru technica international fit them.
A quality filter...and i believe a group buy is on at the moment.

Dont know if the Green panel filter is one, but the STi panel filter is a service item, ie its non cleanable and you just get rid after 15k miles and replace with another one.

I always stick with K&N products whether its a panel filter or an induction kit.The filtration on these filters is excellent and causes a far less risk to MAF sensor than many of the other brands

As above I've had both types of K&N and they are fine. Have always had a K&N on this car and so did the previous owner, so that's 5 years on K&N with no MAF failure. Is a MY97 though so sensor is a bit tougher.
The best thing is it's a one-off payment, then just 5-10 quid a year to clean them, and they clean up as good as new.

Another vote for K&N, I have an induction kit and a panel filter and switch between the two when I have had enough of the Darth vader noise from the induction kit
