Question Grinding rumbling noise from rear wheel

Told tonight as i pulled away from my house, first time scoob moved in two weeks noise like a rattling tin under car, coming from car (no there was not one) but have noticed over last few months grinding, rumbling noise comign from rear near side especially after a left hand bend and as accelerating it worsens then disappears completely, what is this?

gonna get missus to drive car tomorrow with me hanging out of rear windows just in case i am spotted, so dont worry if you see such a strange sight. wheel bearings possible? only done 25,000 in MY01 WRX with PPP.
