Don't know about it being any good, but my main dealer only charge's £20/5Ltr's, which i "think" is 10 40w, synthetic, but can't remember what brand.

Go to technical and do a search. Oil is a very disputed topic on here.

Castrol RS is a good oil, although it is a hydrocracked mineral with synthetic addatives. For the money it's OK, but for not much more you can get a quality fully synthetic. I use Silkolene ProS 10W50, which I get for £27/5l (provided I buy 4 at a time, go halves with a mate). I wouldn't recommend a 0 based oil in a high mileage car, particularly a Scoob, 5 as a minimum. 5W40 or 10W50 are good all year round, but if you want to vary it, 5W will be better in the winter and 10W in the summer.

Contact Simon for good prices on Motul, Millers, Silkolene and Castrol. Good prices and next day delivery
