Question does an afterburner vortex pipework hang lower than usual?

thinking about getting a vortex but looking at pics of some, it seems the pipework hangs lower than say OE or the firestorm i've got at the mo?

wondering if anyone knew if the lowest part of the pipework (bottom of the bend) is any closer to the ground due to the bend to get it to kick out at an angle?

might be the way the pics have been taken but it does look like it jutts down quite low rather than following the diff shape?

don't want to have to start avoiding speed humps!!

...it's like a well hung stud.

Have no problems with mine on my Classic....which has also been lowered an inch with Eibach springs.

cheers guys, i'm sure it's just the angle the pics have been taken from that makes it look lower to my eye

i've mailed scoobyworld to make sure of the ground clearance, but i can't see it being a problem.

does anyone know if it's as loud as my TSL firestorm? don't want to go too much louder TBH

I just think its a different sound to a firestorm, more of a crack to a firestorm and the vortex sounds a bit deeper but it depends on the centre section and down pipe as well its not an exact science.

general feedback seems to be that it's a deeper note, that'll do me!!

had a mail back from scoobyworld and it does seem that the pipework/backbox does hang a little lower due to the nature of the lack of bends. not enough to be of any sort of problem though

i've got full decat so i'm guessing the sound will be spot on. just got to find a 2nd hand one now!!

Running an Afterburner Vortex on a full decat as i am on my Classic, you will find it loud.
Can't say i have heared a firestorm...but i certainly recognise the Vortex and Blitz systems when i hear them coming down the road on a full decat.
