Default Bit of hesitation from cold...?

Iv noticed from cold there is a little bit of hesitation, mainly when setting off, and at low revs. it only lasts for litterally about 2mins from driving the car from cold, then it is perfic!! can often cause a slight bit of bunnyhopping unless i apply a bit of gas then its fine.

any ideas what might be causing it? The car is a MY95 import WRX

Thanks

bt of an update. Im not sure if its coincidence, but i filled up yesterday with optimax and didnt use octane booster, and the car has had no hesitation at all from cold on 2 occasions now.

can this be related?
