Default what CC engine

right ive been forced into buying a 6 speed box and it was the only thing keeping me from upping the cc of my engine, but which is better 2.5ltr seems to get good reports but is the 2.2ltr the better option, it will be running a ported td05/06 turbo and i have 740cc injectors. was going to try and run on a newage sti tmic or am i just dreaming about that option.
which is the better engine to aim for

2.2 Steve..

not sure why a six speed box has caused you to rethink the capacity increase.

Mine's quite nice with 2lt and UK ratios.

Upgrading my 2ltr ???

The heads have never been off and the block has never been apart.
Everything inside is still standard...

Everything I have done has been bolt on and it's nothing you wouldn't have to do to the 2.2.....
