i got it from ebay to make my car more reliable (last summer my header poped and i could only afford a plastic one). my origional one has four outlets and this new alloy one has three. bummer! what can i do? can i get round it or have i been had? i was thinking i could fit a "T" piece in the above overflow pipe? also it only has a screw top? i thought they were supposed to have a pressurised sprig top thingy.

Hmm i saw that on the bay too, but i would have prefered the presuised top, a screw cap aint good!
Best thing to do is get someone in the know to cut the cap of, weld a proper one on and another pipe while he's at it.
Either that or sell it to me

or i could just fit the bottom pipe (the one with the missing outlet) to the top of my new header. thing is id not have an over flow tank. would that be so bad??????????????
i have just spoken to "scoobyclinic" and another scooby tuning garage. both say runing without a over flow tank (inner wing) is safe. id jusl like to ask has any one ever done this?

Whatever it is, it ain't a rad header tank - at least not a useable one anyway.
Put it back on Ebay and hope someone in Fiji buys it.

hi stu
thats the same one that ads welded up !!!
dont use the bottom bolt
get rid of the filler cap & use 1 of a sierra as it holds pressure of 1.3bar which is good
the pipe that runs across the top of the rad dont use
any problem give me a ring
