Default need more noise

I have an sti with ppp but it dosent make the sound my old claasic sti had which had a jap exhaust system on
my guess is i need to do something with the exhaust i have as in changing the back box or de-cat!!!
Explain in detail as im only any good at driving and not mechanicals and any advice on cost and warranty potential probs would be nice
I guess Hol might have the answer as he seems to have just sold the donkeys do dars of a car and knows what hes talking about

Anyone help on this as I am thinking of doing the same thing but with a 02 Sti with PPP.

I fitted a vortex afterburner to my STI 02 and it sounds great! As for the warrantee, well I asked my dealer and I was told if it is just the back box then they would not report it. Any more then the back box then according to them it would affect the boost pressure and of course the warrantee. Mind you even with just the back box I have noticed a small increase in pressure

My mate bought a second hand Scooby from a Subaru dealer with a Magnex already on and they still gave him 12 months warranty.

Ninja back box is quite dogs danglies.
