Default a unbelievable phenomenon

hi everyone i am from israel , and i have to tell you something , that will make you all wonder .

o.k , i am driving at sti 2002 model standrt , and last week i installed a downpipe and mid from a supersprint company and exit from scooby ( a mighty sound ).
anyway , after i installed it , i started to feel that the car is driving very very fast , so i wonder maybe i will confront agenst a sti 2002 with ECUTEK , I remind you a sti with ecu have around 335 hp , and my sti heve around 275-280hp after my change at the exhaust system .
and i did so , yesterday , we met in highway and starded rolling ,

1.acceleration at first geer to fifth geer - i win in half car ,all the way

2.then from second geer to fourth geer - when we started i begin to lead in around 2 car , it was unbelievable , and after we reach to the end of the third geer we was even and eventually i was leading.

3.and acceleration from third geer to fifth geer - in this situation the sti with the ecu was leading in around 0.5 car , but at the end of the fourth geer we was even .

this checking , was make about ten time , and in my car was sited 2 people , and in ecu tek sti was only one person.

so dear feller what you have to say about this phenomenon and how can you explain it ?

Answer, maybe the lad driving the other car is really fat, or had just been to R+P, (Isreals version of B+Q) and had loaded up on bricks??????
