Turbos are a science? new to scoobies but explored RX7s and their twin turbo setup. What size of turbo(s) are we looking at.

But yeah. Tidy, Want, Tidy Want......

There was a twin turbo Legacy some years ago. Not the current version, or the one before that, but the one without the 'double-decker' headlights. I've a feeling it was a grey import, but I would quite like one.

This one, that is.

The Legacy GTB (?) had twin sequential turbos, a small one to give low down torque, then a bigger one for top end power. Allegedly there was a bit of a 'hole' in the torque curve where the 1st one ran out of puff before the 2nd kicked in which made it not so nice to drive.

Yup my Legacy GT is Sequential Twin Turbo'd and goes like a trooper. Yes it does have a valley of death but this can be minimised!!! Its also an Auto and an estate, the perfect sleeper.

Why have twin turbo's and feed a common plenum unless it's sequential.

Pointless and expensive.
