Default Green Panel filter. Any increase in noise or maf problems

Im thinking of getting a replacment elements for my 2003 STI Type UK and from what I can gather by reading some of the threads, the Green panel is the best option.

With the stereo off I can just hear the boost and the dump valve but will it be more audiable with the filter upgrade? Would I notice any difference in the cars response and would I expect to get any problems with the MAF?

Thanks
Andy

Thumbs up

I have a JR panel, and I can hear the induction and DV a bit more. Nearly got me into trouble as the missuse questioned whether I'd been spending money behind her back again No MAF issues after about 10 months running either

I changed from an STI filter to a green, with the green I could hear very slight increase in induction noise just on initial throttle, and I do mean slight..

If you want to hear more try to remove the resonator in the intake (inside the inner fender).

How would you go about removing the resonator?
