How did you set 3.5bar, with the vacuum pipe on, or off ?

3.5bar at "atmospheric" (hose off) would be ok, but if you adjusted it when the hose was on, it's going to be very rich.

Try re-setting it to 3.2 bar, hose off. Ideally, the engine needs to be warm.

Mark.

For the best advice we need a little more information. What pressure regulator are you running and what is your maximum boost target. I assume you have fitted a Walbro 341 255 lph.
