Question Best supplier of performance clutches?

I've a nasty feeling I'll need a new clutch and flywheel skim when the Type R (98 V4) goes in for a big service next week.

The Scoob puts out an estimated 330bhp so will need something fairly beefy to contain the power. API have offered me a Exedy for £300+vat and delivery which isn't too bad but is there any other decent affordable suppliers of these (or similar) before I place an order?

Many thanks,

Russ

Put out a PM for Frank Andreas AKA Money on here, he'll see you right!

That's a good idea - we've done a couple of deals previously and I have his number somewhere too...However, I'll need it quick (if I need one at all) and I don't think Frank actually keeps them does he?

Thanks for your ideas guys, appreciated .

I've got an API Exedy clutch fitted to mine and its so far coped really well. Nice to drive in traffic but takes full power without any complaints.

Not sure what power the car is putting out, but its a 22b (so bascially a 2.2 V4 Type R) running 1.3bar (VF23) on an Apexi PFC.

Dave.
