took the downpipe of today to lag it and somehow managed to damage one of the studs in the turbo dont suppose anyone has one lyeing around they dont want or could anyone tell me where to get another one from (subaru)

your local subaru dealer should have them in stock, it's a common occurance for the nuts to weld themselvs onto the studs with the heat from the turbo.
Had one go on mine and i had to grind it off and get a new stud from subaru, (about £2.50 i think).
To fit it you will need a strong heat source such as a gas welding torch to heat the exhaust housing by the stud and then just remove with a set of grips and replace with the new one by winding it in with a new nut on it.

Stevey, u will def need to heat the exhaust housing up to get the new stud in, it's the interferance fit between the stud and housing that's SUPPOSED to hold it in!
Unfortunatley as most people who mod theese cars themselfs find out the theroy does not always work!
