I have a Ninja with full de-cat, cracking noise on idle and not too noisy with revs. Fine on the m'way cruising, but I wouldn't say it was quiet - perfectly acceptable however.

I have the resonated centre and back box on a MY99, good low down rumble on tick over, and a growl when opened up, 3000 to 4000 revs on motorway cruising is o.k. Very little noise in the cabin.
