Hi there.

I already own a Turbosmart Supersonic BOV and have an Afterburner Vortex backbox and centre pipe. I'm just toying with the idea of increasing the sound coming out from my little STI8 , if possible.

My first suggestion was to change the Supersonic BOV with a TurboXS model - the RFL. I've only read about this BOV and have never heard it. On the website they claim 110db recorded from this BOV? Is that a red-herring, or are these BOV's louder then the Turbosmart?

As for the backbox, would I be gaining anymore noise by changing the Vortex for the Blitz Nur Spec R. Are these as loud as people have been saying, louder then the Vortex? What centrepipe suggestions does anyone have if I chose a Blitz?

I'll mention one thing, noise polution. The police will fine you for it, best to keep things sensible rather than ott (and the fact is that you probably wont be able to live with it on a day to day basis anyway).
