As title really, i have recently bought a set of SPA digital gauges. In order to fit the oil temp sender into the sump, i need to know the thread size of the sump plug so that i can get an adaptor to fit the 1/8 NPT thread of the sender.

Car is a 1996 impreza STi RA, and i would say that from the old sump plug washer, that the size will be in the order of M20x1.5.

But has anyone bought the same adaptor and knows what size it was?

 

Sump plug I have here is, as you say, M20 x 1.5mm.
