steering wheel virbrates alot after changing pads

Default steering wheel virbrates alot after changing pads

hi

i have just changed some new EBCs.... after fitting i went on the motorway, and the steering wheel starts to virbrate very hard when hitting above 60mph, can anyone tell me what happened... and i am very worried
my car is a 94 WRX import with standard brakes.... EBC front disc

Have you checked the wheel nuts are properly tightened? Torque them to 65lbs/ft

yes they are.... what do you mean by Torque them to 65lbs/ft

i would either say the pads where a tight fit and not moving freely,so they will be touching the disc and creating high spots on the disc or your wheels may have been balanced on the car at sometime and now you have taken them off they will need doing again,jack car up and check that wheel will rotate freely,also when driving put foot on brake slightly and see if you can feel brake pedal kicking back slightly.
