Turbo Removal or Swop DIY
Is it easy to remove turbo?
I would imagine; oil feed/drain gets disconnected, undo bolts for downpipe, presume some bolts for up-pipe and some bolts securing it to something, oh and remove heatshield first
Is that simple, can anyone do a step by step guide or point me to a website that does.
Should I want to swop the turbo in the future for an exchange item or hybrid etc I am just wondering about how easy it is to do yourself. I can't imagine it's that difficult, just awkward and a lot of swearing to be done.
I have done a search and I cannot see anyone talking about removal of the turbo only what type to get etc.
Damian.
