Have you recently changed the air filter to an oiled foam one like ITG?

Possibly over oiled?

Replacement under warranty then if it is the MAF that's gone again.

I'm sure there'll be more technically minded people along in the morning.

Wink

Could just go to your local dealer and have it put on the computer... abit pricey for what they do, but atleast you'll know what it is... just cost me £47 quid to have mine tested on the computer...

Could be many things. Has your CEL come on? What was the car like to drive prior to this problem? What mods (if any)?

Have a go at an ECU diagnostic to see if there are any error codes. If you need info on how to do that, click here. If there are some, they might be old stored ones. Reset the ECU to clear them (assuming there are some). The CEL will then flash after resetting, saving you doing another diagnostic. If you get any error codes this time, they're relevant...
