Question can anyone give me any advice

Hi, just got myself a k reg subaru impreza type ra and lovin it. However Petrol runs out very quickly. this could be due to the fact i have a low ratio gear box, this is great for acceleration but when i want to cruise along at 70mph i am doing near on 5000rpm. Does anyone know if i can just swap the gear box for a standard wrx one, would it help? or does anyone have any other ideas? cheer chris

Yes you can change it for a non ra wrx box a long as the diff is the same ratio.

IMHo only buy from a reputable supplier/breakers, the sale of your box should cover the purchase of the wrx one which is cool.

Grade A are the breakers i would reccomend mate
