If you are running that level of torque you are also approaching the limits of the gearbox.
the gears are feeling a bit crunchy when changing and reverse and first gear are terrible untill warm.anyone no anyone in the midlands area who fits clutches cheapish. do you reckon my clutch sounds on its way out??

My UK MY00 clutch took 406 BHP and about 340 lbft (can't remember exactly now) and wasn't slipping after 31000 miles, although not all were at that power, most of them were well over 300 BHP.

Totally agree with John.
I would be temped to contact David at www.apiengines.co.uk for a price and fit an AP/Lateral organic assembly and never worry again.

Mystery,
My original MY01 clutch has done 50k miles and has been around the 330lb/ft for the last 20k miles.
This includes over 100 - 5k - 6k revs launches at RWYB days.
Still holding out (looks around frantically for some wood to touch)
Cheers
Martin
