Arrow noise from gearbox when slowing down

Hi can someone give me some advice please. I have a 1993 wrx import 280bhp, with 40000 miles on the clock and my clutch has just died i had it replaced with a genuine subaru clutch and im getting a weird noise i presume coming from the gearbox only when im slowing down and when i clutch down it stops. Ive also found my clutch pedal sticks a bit when taking off in first and if i boot it in second or third it sticks to the floor, its done this even before i had the clutch replaced and i presumed thats what caused it to go in the first place. when i picked the car up he showed me the clutch he'd taken out there was nothing left of it and the release bearing had forced its way through the clutch plate if thats any help thanks.

Sounds like a worn release bearing but that should have been replaced.
