Default WHICH FILTER- STI V5??

SENDING BACK THE BLITZ SUS INDUCTION KIT DUE TO SEVERE POWER LOSS PROBLEMS, SO WHICH FILTER SHOULD I GET? IT SEEMS THAT ALOT OF PEOPLE ARE OPTING FOR PANEL FILTERS DUE TO MAF SENSOR PROBLEMS WITH CONE STYLE FILTERS.

agree with Pete, i've used An STi panel filter for the last 6 months and everything is fine.

The only prob. now is that i have a Front Mount Intercooler fitted - so i've had to fit an induction kit.

After countless research , the most maf friendly kit would appear to be the k and n .

I've taken a couple of precautions to safeguard the maf / improve response with the induction kit :

fitted mini cold air scoop in place of std. vent above cone.
ducted a cold air supply from front bumper up to cone.
made a vertical heat shield to sit beside the cone , to try and keep as much warm air away as possible.

car is awaiting re-map at the mo ( 10th oct ) , so i haven't been able to give it a proper thrashing yet to see if everything is ok !
