whats best porting oe headers or paying a bit more.
whats best porting oe headers or paying a bit more. and having some stainless ones they have to come of soon to have the up pipe changed so whats my best bet ?

port standard ones for now, much cheaper and some good gains are available.
depends on your ultimate targets as at real power outputs headers do become a significant restriction.
You could go half way and get a stainless cross pipe. I believe that is the most serious restriction in the standard headers. I may even have a haywards and scott one floating somewhere.

Even at only 400 BHP I lost 10% power at the same boost level by swapping back to ported OEM headers even with aftermarket uppipe. I really didn't want to lose that much as I was tempted to go back to OEM after all the leaks LOL.
