As far as I know they're not too bad to fit, its the mapping which is the skill. I am just trying to keep the overall price down which might allow me a few more quid for some other piece of kit(yorkshire bloke you see). I have read that Andy F is the MAN for apexi mapping. He charges approx £880 fitted and mapped.

I havent be able to get a cost for just mapping from Andy F, but if he charges £200 or more then I will let him supply and fit.

andy charges £180 for mapping, £50 for each adjustment after that.

you get a free commander with the ECU at the moment!

Hmmm, possibly not. I don't particularly want to have the ability to play around with settings as I don't have any idea what I am doing. Best leave it to the expert .

It depends on how you are for cash. If money is tight, the extra £25 to Andy F is money well spent. You can always add the commander at a later date.

Phil I only want it to monitor engine, not so i can fiddle. Like you said I wouldnt know what to do either. Anyhow its a MY97 so theres no centre console for loads of dials

You can't get an FC without a commander any more as far as I know.
