HOW MUCH MORE BHP IF ANY?
Some info. please people. Planning to change standard backbox and filters on my01 wrx, will simply fitting sti box and filters make much difference bhp wise or will it take more. Hoping not to spend too much (well thats what the wife says
)

I brought a MY01 WRX a couple of months ago which already had the following:
Ecutek2 remap
Complete decat exhaust system including up pipe
Viper air filter
I havn't had it on the rolling road yet myself but the last owner give me runs he had done at power engineering which was Max 277 BHP at 6406 RPM and
265 FT Torque
Are they roundabout 216BHP standard???????????

MY01 was 215bhp as standard. Mods as specified will not make a great deal of noticable difference.
Full decat and filter should yield around the 245 - 250bhp mark.
