Wink Questions on centre pipes

Hi

I own a MY03 WRX with a afterburner vortex back box. Im thinking of getting the decat centre section and ive just got a couple of questions.

Will this increase the noise by much as I think it is loud enough already?
Will any centre section fit?
Will i see much of an improvement in power or is it not worth bothering?

I dont want to go the full de-cat route also would it be worth fitting an STI panel filter?

Cheers

there are two centre pieces, one has a res box and one a cat,if you replace both you will get an increase in noise, and it will fell more free flowing top end,but you may as well just replace the shorter cat section keeping the res box as this will keep noise down but still flow better top end. There is no point replacing just the res box section. It will still pass mot without centre cat.
