Default Coolant Header Tank Relocation ..Nice cool cone filter ..

After being prompted by John Banks I moved my header tank last night as it does radiate lots of heat & is always to hot to touch

Before http://images.fotopic.net/?iid=y2jxf6&outx=482&oq=0
After http://images.fotopic.net/?iid=y3zou9&outx=482&oq=0

Left & right side http://images.fotopic.net/?iid=y3zoue&outx=482&oq=0
http://images.fotopic.net/?iid=y3zoud&outx=482&oq=0

Header is held with an aluminium Brkt top & bottom, I/2 bore heater hose from a motor factors (Samco blue to follow) Couple of joiners & lots of back ache.
Cone filter now stays much cooler especially whilst standing in traffic (people think i have broke down when i pop the bonnett to feel my cone )
Next plan is to separete the filter form the engine with some shiney Alloy

Dean

Yep

I only spotted that the link pipe went from a connection under where the air con pump used to be the other week and thought "Why am I struggling to keep the header tank over near the air filter then"

doing the same, no aircon in a 99.
need some sort of bracket to hold it securely in position somewhere on the nearside, preferably insulated from the manifold.
