Default Back box question

Considering changing my current PPP box for something a bit louder and better looking. I am eventually going for the decat and remap when the cash is available but I wanna change the back box in the mean time to get a bit more flat four noise.

Does anyone know of any problems in replacing the PPP box for a aftermarket one? I did hear that decat's and PPP can have probs so im just asking as i will only be changing the box.

Also any recomendations would be great

Car is a UK300 PPP.

PICs would also be appreciated

See here M8, http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/showthread.php?t=349160 , I'm waiting on similar answers

I think the consensus (sp?) is centre decat OK, downpipe decat needs remap and or boost retrictor changes to prevent overboost/boost spikes. So, changing just the back box with PPP ok. Though if you read my post you'll see I know Jack ****

if you're only planning on changing the BB for the while then i'd certainly go for a blitz nur spec . . . . .
theres plenty out there to choose from but will bugger up your warranty.
ive got the nur spec R and magnex DP on my00 classic and love it.
recently went to powerstation for a re-map
boss(richard) couldn't believe how i put up with the noise lol . .
but if thats wot u want then deffo blitz ;-)
