Is a short-shift gear change worth adding to my WRX? I plan to be adding a complete exhaust system, different intercooler, 80mm induction kit, and Ecutek remap.

Also, there are a lot of different makes around but am I best to stick to the Prodrive one?

The Prodrive one has a harder bush fitted and is a compete unit but not VFM compared with something like a BM? one.
It does make a much nicer shift but then the £40 one I put on an MY97 made a big difference.
If Prodrive did the shift on an exchange basis for the old unit then it would be more competitive.
Go for a cheaper one than Prodrive and spend the saving on other goodies!

Rally Design or demon tweaks perhaps for cheaper models? Then there's scoobymania, TSL, JWRacing Power Engineering etc etc for the posher (read more expensive) ones.
Perhaps Alyn at AS Performance does a VFM one?
