Coilover servicing (Mods please leave here)
I have Apex coilovers & one requires servicing (after hitting a mother of pot holes today)
Who carries this out, Any recomendations ?? & anyone local to staffordshire, What sort of money should i expect to pay ???
It has started to leak Oil past the damper rod.
Thanks

Seems im the only one running coilovers & to have had a problem
forget it mate, I tried to get a set of 4 done by RC and they said they had to go to Japan, freight cost was going to be around £400 with the same for servicing.
I just got my Ledas rebuilt for £235 all in.

Are you saying then, forget them & purchase a new set ?? i.e a make than can be serviced over here ?? What do you recomend, Who rebuilt your Ledas ??
Thanks
Dean
Leda rebuilt my Ledas. You may be able to get it done actually, as My problem with the Cuscos were I had inserts in them, which needed replacing complete. As yours are probably strippable you may find a specialist that can rebuild them. I would recommend the UK importer of Ohlins may be able to help you as they are used to doing rally rebuilds, and I am sure I have heard of someone in the Uk that rebuilds Proflex.
