Default losing bhp

HI, had the 94 wrx on a rolling road all day today been losing power and trying to find out why?the very knowledgable chaps said it must be gearbox related due to the unusual graphs coming off the dyno ,and they think it is the centre diff slipping!!has anyone had any knowledge of this happening ,and the consequences..car still drives but losing power in low gears...any advice ...thanks chaps..

bet they do..!! ie more money for em..!!! id get a second opinion. Ive seen cars slip on the rollers a few times.

To test the clutch Find a steepish hill slow down to say 30mph and put the car in 4th gear and try to accelerate. If the revs seem to jump/increase more than normal it could be the clutch.

I cant see how the center diff would be slipping, and if it was that would mean all or most power to the front wheels and power would be read the same on a dyno, also u would start spining up the front all the time
