Question Urgent technical clutch question

Is the clutch on a MY97 Turbo hydraulic or cable operated?

If this seems a stupid question then sorry but need to know ASAP.

Thankyou.

Question

Anyone point me in the right direction at least?

Reason I need to know is that a friend is buying a car with a fairly stiff clutch pedal and the vendor says the reason it's like that is because it's hydraulic. Sounds iffy to me but I know nothing about clutches thus why I ask.

Wink

1.I didn't get the hump, sorry if it appears that way

2.I'm only too aware that people have better things to do than answer questions.

3.Stuck it up in general because a search on 'clutch' didn't give any answers. However 'failed clutch' did, but I didn't think of it straight away.

4.Have a nice day

S.

Wasn't too harsh, I don't hold grudges!

While I've got the attention of S/N's brightest any chance you could tell me what a heavy clutch pedal might mean?

My friends buying one and it's much harder to depress than my faultless (tempting fate here)UK Turbo wagon. He's worried about forking out for a new one straight after buying.

My thoughts are clutch fluid or air in system.
