It certainly has the correct number of pieces (Decat downpipe, decat pipe, centre section & backbox) and the hangers appear to be in the correct locations (as much as i can tell from the pictures perspective) - I reckon it will fit & SOUND A LOT LOUDER

Markyboy,
thanks a lot,at least it has all the right peices in the right places,

pappa,
if it is a toilet roll centre it must be a big f**king toilet,it has a 6" bore.

reckon i'm going to have some engine light problems when i put it on.
what is the best way to resolve that???

i reckon tek 3 and STi panel filter.........anyone?????

thanks again,

Mac.

No, they have 2 pieces BETWEEN the downpipe and the backbox (Cat pipe & Centre section)

Mac I think its for a classic. I think the mounting bracket before b box should go to the right for 02 models not to the left.

On looking at it again, it does appear to be a 3 piece exhaust. I can only see 2 joins (not including downpipe to turbo) which does suggest it's for a classic as newage exhausts (usually) have 3 pieces AFTER the downpipe.

Can you get the seller to confirm how many pieces there are to the exhaust?

Marky boy,
There are only 3 peices to the exhaust, downpipe, centre section and the backbox, then again i might have laid it out wrong,as the bracket could go to the other side.will check after work(panic mode on.)

Ok been back to check,i laid it out wrong,(i think)the bracket looks as if it does go on the right side.

but the 3 peice thing is worrying, could the guy who made it (custom built)done it in 3 parts??.
would better photos help??.
thanks for all your help so far guys,i am a complete biff with exhausts.

Mac.

Mac.
It's possible if its custom built that 3 parts are all that are needed. The exhaust system on your car, assuming it's the factory one, will be a 4 part exhaust - as said earlier 1)Downpipe 2)Cat pipe 3)Centre section & 4)Backbox.

However, I have seen some downpipes for the newage cars that are longer than the factory one therefore eliminating the need for the No.2 Cat pipe. This may be the case with your new one.

Sorry I can't be more definate m8

It's not what you want to hear but if it turns out that it is for a classic you shouldn't have too many problems selling it on without making a loss.

Mark

Mac you need to get under an 02 car and check the back box I'm sure the bracket should go to the right not to the left.
