Default Scoobyworld Afterburner

Hello all,
this question's probably been asked a million times (maybe not a million) but I'm getting a Scoobyworld Afterburner with a centre and decat pipe, it's going on a MY01 WRX, is this going to be REALLY loud, or not?? what kind of performance gains can I expect??
Also it's having a Unichip fitted next week, do I need the pipes on before the chip??? will they affect the sensors???

over to you expert types!!!

Mike

Hi there.

Nice choice of pipes If you're looking for a very nice - loud- burble coming from the rear then the Afterburner range is just what you need. The noise when you rev pass 3-4000rpm is awesome - people will hear you coming from a distance.

If that is what you were looking for, then you will NOT be dissapointed. Just be prepared for people telling you that they thought a rocket was taking off nearby, when in fact it was just you popping to the shops!

You will feel a difference in the feel of the car, you can look to gain about 20 - 25BHP with those 3 pipes installed. The car will feel more responsive due to the missing CAT and centre section. Of course this could vary from car-to-car, but from past experience having driven other cars with these pipes on, the difference was very noticeable.

Hope this helps
Jas.

That's the setup Ive got on mine.
Ive had it for a few month's now & still haven't stopped grinning!

It definitely makes the car feel more responsive!

Enjoy!

Agree. Is it the Angled exit Vortex your having?
Excellent choice. With a full decat and a angled exit Afterburner Vortex you will notice a big difference. I went from a ninja on a full decat to the Afterburner back box on a full decat and by just changing the back box the difference was astonishing.
The sound and thud the thing makes is fantastic aswell.
