Default Gearbox decisions - 5 or 6 speed

I have a MY98 UK, soon will be running

TD05/06 20G
255l/h Walboro fuel pump
FSE adj FPR
Stock intercooler/possibly HKS FMIC soon
480cc injectors
Apexi Power FC
Apexi AVC-R
Samco turbo hoses
All monitoring instruments
Standard internal

Probably end up running somewhere between
330 and 360 bhp, with somewhere over 320 lb ft
torque.

I can't decide between

1) JDM 6 speed (with DCCD, but disabled, as no loom or controller,
too expensive - so torque balance set at 33 front /66% rear)

2) Version 3 Type R close ratio 5 speed. I can get DCCD on this, but
only optional.

5) Sti5 5 speed box

It is a daily driver, with intention of as much trackdays as I can afford.

Obviously, 5 speed is much cheaper option, but the 6 speed is very
tempting. Genrally speaking, will the Type R box or Sti5 box cope OK
with the amount of torque I'll be running?

The other thing that concerns me is the gear judge function on AVC-R. I don't think it supports 6 speed. What happens to the boost regulation in
6th gear? Can something be done to compensate?

Anyone with first hand experience with any of the above?

Thanks in advance
Keigo
