Default Apexi Power FC ECU, any good?

I've just recently bought a sti v5 type r and I'm about to spend some money on a few tuning goodies, decats, induction kit etc and fuel management.

I know that gems and ecutek are very popular on sti's but was wondering if anyone had tried an Apexi Power FC ECU? I'm not after mega power in the short term but a system that can be easly altered over time as I spend more cash on the car.

How do you rate them or would I be better looking elsewhere?

I'm based in Cental Scotland so local fitment would be a plus, especially if I'm having it mapped more than once.

All feedback is appreciated.

Cheers

Andy F is the man to speak to about the Apexi Power FC, he can supply them as well as fit and map them. He is probably the most experienced Apexi mapper in the UK when it comes to Scooby's and he gets the best results from the Apexi. He will also advise you on any other mods required to get the most out of your Scooby. He is based in Edinbourgh.

I'm already using 1 of his hybrid turbos and I'm so confident in his mapping skills that I'm planning to fly him down to Southampton to map my Scooby when I get my Apexi Power FC
