OVER BOOSTING IN 4th AND 5th
Hello people
i was wondering if anyone can help took my car to power and engineering the other week because it was over boosting he took a pipe off and took out a small gromit with a hole through the middle and drilled this out another 0.01mm or something like that put it on the rolling road and it went fine 276bhp which i was chuffed about but the problem has come back but only in top gears 4th and 5th can anyone help with advice on what to do or should i take it back to power and edengineering??

You may need to use a Dawes device to control the boost at the top end, sounds as though the improved exhaust system is allowing this. My MY94 STi did exactly the same when I put a good exhaust system on it with a K&N filter. The Dawes is an outstanding boost control device.

have exaxtly the same problem on my 96 wrx wagon. Have dawes fitted but over boosts in 5th. What did poer engineering do scooby_jay? i could quite undertand?
